About Me
I like new things, changes, fresh starts. Free mornings and busy evenings. Coffee and novels and really thick medical books. I believe life can give you a better education than any school can, so I'm always up for an adventure.
I love traveling and I think about the next place I want to visit all the time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been hosting couchsurfers with my family since I was 16 or so. The summer of 2011, I spent about 10 weeks traveling and couchsurfing in United States. At the moment, I try to balance working as a young doctor with hosting as much as I can and surfing occasionally, whenever I have the opportunity to travel.
I believe in quality hosting, e.g. having a meal with you, getting to know you, learn from you and teach you things, show you around as much as possible. However, medicine does take away a lot of my time and energy, so I apologize in advance if I won't be able to spend a lot of time with you. However, I will tell you in advance (e.g. when I accept your request) if this might be the case.
I currently live with my boyfriend in a shared flat (two other roommates) so I can only accept one person at a time and for short stays (1 or 2 nights), and since every stay has to be coordinated with my roommates, I prefer if you write me well in advance.
Please READ MY PROFILE and write a PERSONALIZED COUCH REQUEST, don't just send me a 2 line message asking to host you. CS is not about a free bed and I've surfed enough to know writing a personalized request won't take you more than 10 minutes. I will not reply to copy paste requests or messages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked as a doctor in a free clinic in a very underpriviliged part of Kenya. Been to Japan and stayed with a Japanese family for a little over three weeks. Traveled around the USA for 10 weeks by bus only (around 10,000 miles). Went canyoning and rafting. Went for a jungle trek to Machu Picchu. Dived to 18 metres of depth for the first time. Met an incredible amount of travelers and shared my experiences with them.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I can teach you some Slovene, how to cook a Peruvian dish, how to stitch a wound or do CPR. I know some cool card games as well. ;)
I would be willing to learn anything, especially languages or information about the country you are coming from, its people and their habits. I will probably ask you a lot of question about that. :)
