Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Assem, originally from Egypt and now living in Estonia, where I’m doing my PhD at TalTech. My research is about improving electric and autonomous vehicles — in short, I’m trying to make future transportation smarter and safer.
I’m an engineer by profession, but also someone who enjoys simple things: meeting new people, discovering local traditions, and having real conversations about life, travel, and culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people from different backgrounds, share stories, and discover new places through local eyes. I believe the best way to understand a country is through its people, not just its landmarks.
Interests

Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy exchanging cultures and experiences. I can share insights about engineering, robotics, and design — but also everyday things like Egyptian traditions, travel stories, and food! I love learning about how people live, think, and create in different parts of the world.
