About Me

CURRENT MISSION

create, create, create

ABOUT ME

not too serious, sometimes sarcastic, but usually a nice human being. passionate about all forms of arts (visual arts, music, literature) but also a party animal from time to time.

PHILOSOPHY

there has to be some super meaningful quote here... but yeah, i don't have any credos. i consider myself to be a feminist, atheist and a tolerant human being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just joined couchsurfing for language learning purposes but found out that it's a nice way to meet interesting people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't got much of it - but participated in a language table and met some great people for a coffee and a walkabout - it's fun.

Interests

Mostly art related (comics, illustration, music, literature, theatre, etc), enjoy dancing to rock’n’roll and 80’s pop, i like exploring the city i stay in – it’s nightlife, events, cafes and bars, love just observing people, pure nature doesn’t move me that much! i’m not a fan small talks - i love to meet honest, straightforward personalities

Music, Movies, and Books

So many to be named...Pink Floyd/the Cure/Radiohead/Bjork/the Beatles/the Smiths/Bruce Springsteen/the Doors/Amon Tobin/Placebo/Amy Winehouse/Rammstein/Arcade Fire/Blondie/David Bowie/Tchaikovsky/Bach... the list continues.
So far my favourite movie is either Red Desert (Antonioni) or Death in Venice (Visconti), though i have a long list of the ones to be watched, but usually just end up rewatching D.Bowie'€™s videos on youtube. Youtube is evil.
Books- everything by Dostoyevsky, €˜J.Borges, €˜Brother of Sleep by R.Schneider, Hemingway, Alice in Wonderland by L.Carroll, Smila's Sense of Snow by P.Hoeg are the ones i love most (or managed to remember at this particular moment)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Created a graphic novel. Very proud of myself for it. Amazing things seen.. hard to describe - I am most amazed by people and the stuff they do or create.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach English language, history of rock music in British scene comes as a bonus. Also, I can teach some arts and comics creating stuff and draw a little portrait.
I’d love to learn French!

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Russian Federation

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Lithuania, United Kingdom
