CURRENT MISSION
Stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Just ... staying.
ABOUT ME
I am completely rubbish when it comes to describing myself to be perfectly honest. Usually I prefer to let other people find out for themselves. But I suppose I ought to put something here.
I'm not a weirdo, not really anyway. And I've got no chainsaws stashed away somewhere so I'm perfectly safe to be around. Being funny is something I'd like to be but I don't know if I am - you can be the judge of that.
I'm ambitious when it comes to my future but I still love to socialize and meet new people, whatever the circumstances. Oh and I'm a big movie fan, so there... And I've got a lovely retro record player. It's totally cool.
PHILOSOPHY
Still haven't figured this one out. I have friends who study philosophy though.
Be nice, see the world. Something along those lines.

I'd love to host and eventually venture out on my own.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't been the most active courchsurfer as of late, I have to admit but I still love it. Meeting new people is great fun which is why I signed up in the first place. Nobody's ever trashed my home, so that's good I guess? Yeah?
Interests
As can be seen in my major I'm a movie fanatic. I love to spend time watching movies and my DVD collection is rather large, if I may say so myself. Apart from my studies, I spend a lot of time in the company of my friends - both going out and just staying in. Also I love to cook and experiment a bit with flavour combinations - though that doesn't mean I make food in the style of Heston Blumenthal. Furthermore I absolutely adore reading a good book and I'm a great fan of classic literature.

Music, Movies, and Books
Probably the most difficult question. Off hand I adore movies as a general. Old classics such as Gone with the Wind and Casablanca hold a special place in my heart but I'm also quite intruiged by most of Truffaut's and Godard's films. Classic suspsens in the form of Hitchcock is brilliant too, same goes for Antonioni's Blow Up and a great deal of Ingmar Bergman's work. I do however also love later movies, they don't have to be indies or anything of the sort. For instance I'm rather fascinated by The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and some of Baz Luhrmann's films. Really, I'm not picky.
When it comes to music it's rather difficult to narrow it down. I love old rock, more present stuff, indie rock, some pop, some Rn'B, some folk, some classic. Most, really. Just not heavy metal, please.
I love to read - both contemporary works but I also have a weakness for the old classics; Sherlock Holmes, Brontë, Austen, Dickens.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wish I could say something along the lines of: "skydiving was the most life altering experience I've ever had". Never skydived though. Or been out swimming with dolphins. I've ridden on a camel though and seen the Great Pyramid. Now that was something special and quite mind blowing. I was gobsmacked.
