I'm a music teacher, currently living in Iceland. In my free time I write and play music, walk on mountains, learn a new instrument and enjoy life with friends and family.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I think the most important thing is to look at things positively. There is always a positive way to look at things, and that makes life worth living.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only know couch surfing through friends and have therefore met so many interesting people and gained friends for life. What is better than getting to know a city through a local?

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music, maybe apart from death metal. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the creativity but I have difficulties listening to someone scream in my ears. If there is a melody, I can listen for longer :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved from Iceland to New Zealand on my own to work as a volunteer with children in after school programs, it was amazing. The nature, the people, experiencing the world. Loved it.
