I'm a free spirited, English/Norwegian traveller, with a passion for art and a strong curiosity to learn and explore as much as possible from the great diversity in the world and its people. I have grown up on a creative farm in northern Norway, where creativity and sustainability was held at the heart of all that we did. Over the last few years I've volunteered and and travelled in South America, Japan and Australia and spent a year at art school in Denmark. I love to paint, read, discuss with passion and sincerity, spend time in nature, play music, dance, cook and of course to travel, connect with new people and share are stories.

I believe that travelling (whether in the depth of the Congo or central Manhattan) takes much more than seeing and following the pre-paved path of a tourist. It requires a deeper curiosity and and self understanding. In my experience the best way of really taking inn and learning from a place or a new country is through living with the local people and allowing room for spontaneity. Couchsurfing is an amazing opportunity to connect with like minded people who value the importance of sharing and travelling.

My main interests lie within art, philosophy and travel. I've painted and written regularly throughout my life and aim to apply to art school next year.I have a lot of different interests however, and love to discuss everything from culture to religion, psychology or global problems.

I love reading and watching movies. Some of my recent favorites have been: the danish girl, Mr. Nobody, the dead poet society, lost in translation, my life as a dog. And books: the goldfinch, the poisonwood bible, the man who quit money, the power of now, the bonesetters daughter.

I hiked the 4 day sacred Inca pilgrimage to Machupicchu. Its been a lifelong dream and was an eye awakening experience beyond what I had expected.

Honest deep conversation, sharing of stories and life experiences, reflections and perspectives on the world we live in. I love cooking and have a all inclusive diet so would be more than happy to prepare some meals. I'm handy with cleaning and general help and I'm never afraid to get my hands dirty.
