Overview
About Me
—- we are on the road from
August until January 2025 and cannot host anyone in that time frame—-
About us:
Astrid is working as a neuroscientist, currently trying to understand more about Alzheimer's disease progression and how to cure it. When not in the lab, she likes to bake (sweets), enjoy nature and travel.
Johannes works as an event/tourism manager. He spends his free time cycling, baking (bread) or trying to take the best nature/outdoor photos.
We met while volunteering in Namibia when we were just 18 years old. Both of us are passionate about traveling, meeting new people and exploring different cultures. We have been living in Munich for the last two years but quit or jobs and are now excited for the next chapter: traveling for half a year!! We look forward to meeting new people on our trip around the world :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To see the world, meet new people and learn about other cultures.
The best way to learn about new places is by talking to locals, and couchsurfing offers the perfect opportunity for this.
