Hi everybody! My name's Astrid from Mendoza, Argentina.
I'm an enterprising young woman, proactive, willing to learn, and grow. I dream of learning about other cultures and have the chance to teach about mine.
My family comes from Slovenia, so I've learnt to love diversity and respect different traditions. Since I was a little girl I've been taught foundational values, there's one only thing that really counts and this is to share, respect and value what others are and do. Being able to put yourself in other people' shoes gives you a valuable perspective that will change your life for better. This is what I try to teach as a Scout leader.
I like to socialise, work in teams, teach and learn in all I do. I love singing since I was a little girl. This is a passion I treasure as it has become a way to feel relaxed wherever I go. I sing in a choir since I was 14. In my free time I also play the guitar, I drink "mate" ( kind of argentinian tea), share time with friends or ride my bike. I also swim to forget about routine and relax.
My main goal is to find happiness. My main pilar, my family. We are 9 siblings and I have 9 nephews and nieces. I miss them a lot, but I know they understand me and share my happiness in the distance.

I've heard wonderful comments on this style of travelling, as it opens doors to meet new people and spend little money on trips.
I am not alone in this adventure as my friend Astrid is coming with me this time. We met 12 years ago as Scouts and we are friends since then, sharing the same values and goals.
Unfortunately, we do not have many references to offer as we are new at this, but we hope to have the chance to meet you and share valuable experiences soon.
