About Me

I'm a cheerful and caring person and I enjoy getting to know people, learning from them and finding out what drives them. I think humor is very important and hate days without a laugh. Apart from that, I am a creative person and I love hiking, climbing and bouldering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been active as a host, surfer and I'm sometimes meeting up with people. I have a couple of friends through couch surfing and it opened up a world to me. Currently (2021/2022) I’m on a big trip, which started in South America, together with my boyfriend. And we hope to meet lots of interesting people, practice our Spanish and get to know local culture through Couchsurfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it has been great: fun people and everyone is really open. I love meeting people from all over the world and learn about other cultures. I’ve both surfed, hosted and met up with people through Couchsurfing, but that was all quite a while ago. Eager to get started again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 experiences are (in no particular order):
- The semester abroad I did in UCSD in San Diego, California. Meeting so many open minded people, making friends for life and getting to know so many different cultures changed my life and really got the travelling and learning fire burning.

- My first South America adventure: I lived, worked and learned spanish in Bolivia and then traveled Bolivia and Peru. I'm still grateful for this opportunity: I met the most friendly people, worked in the indigenous community with the sweetest kids in the world, learned so much about their amazing culture and on top of all of that got the chance to see more of this beautiful country and it's neighbor Peru.

And now I’m adding an amazing experience by traveling together with my boyfriend in the Americas (and possibly beyond)!
