ABOUT ME
I'm Astrid. I grew up in France and moved to London 8 years ago. Moving to England was a big change as well as the best decision I ever took in my life. I'm sociable, open minded and I really enjoy meeting new people.
Currently I'm working for an international train company. This job let me a lot of free time to travel. Once a month or so I try to discover a new city in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host but not all the time as I’m travelling a lot. I live in a one bedroom flat in South Croydon it s south London (zone 5) 30mn far from London Bridge and 20 mn from Gatwick airport.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I already met few couch surfers in London, Barcelona, Bosnia and Israel. I always met great people. I try to participate to CS meetings and activities in London.

Interests

I love travelling of course especially in Eastern Europe. I don't know why I love Eastern Europe that much but I always have good time there. I love Russian language and I'm always glad to practice with natives.
I love my job as I can meet a lot of people from every nationalities while working.
I also enjoy outdoors activities ( hiking, ice skating, swimming...).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Moscow was awesome. I also went to Greenland during the winter in a small city called Ilulissat. It was definitely a great experience. I had amazing time there.
