About Me

My best friends would say that I'm spirited, energetic, independent and very hard-working. They'd also say I am respectful of other people and open-minded.

Music is the biggest part of my life. I'm working towards dual degrees in Music Therapy and Journalism (emphasis on music). I spend most of my time working or building my writing portfolio. I'm the editor for The Vinyl District-Cleveland, which is a music website. When I'm not working my full-time job, I am out at a concert listening to whatever music I can get my ears to, or interviewing a band. In what little free time I have, I like to travel and make new friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In October of 2010, I got in my dad's red pickup and drove to New York City alone to play a flute masterclass with my mentor, Robert Dick. That was one of those moments in which I proved to myself that I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to.

Prior to that, I'd say the moment that left me most awestruck was performing in St. Paul's Cathedral with the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony the summer after I graduated high school.
