I am an English teacher and my husband Danis is a firefighter. We both love travelling. We travel by any means of transport, by bicycle, by motorbike, by car, by airplane.... We also love nature and we often go hiking.

We are here to meet new people and share our travelling experiences. Visiting a new country is much more than sightseeing and if you really want to get a genuine taste of what it is like living there, couchsurfing might be the best choice.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The greatest thing I have done so far is Tour du Mont Blanc! Hiking 180 km , 10,000 m height gain, 3 countries! A trip completely arranged by Danis, to whom I owe every single step of it! A challenge I am really proud of completing!

We often travel long distances on our motorbike, like Dolomiti in Northern Italy, Transalpina and Trasfagarasan in Romania. In summer 2019 we toured Turkey on our motorcycle.

Danis has cycled 2500 km (from Rostock Germany to Thessaloniki Greece) on his bicycle all alone!

We are both runners. I only run short distances (10-15km) but Danis is a marathon runner with his longest race being 168km of mountain trails!
