Overview
About Me
A lover of nature and books. I'm not good at describing myself, maybe references can help.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hey everyone!
I’m not just offering a place to stay, I’m offering a little piece of home. If you’re far from yours and craving comfort food, let’s roll up our sleeves and cook together! I’ll help you recreate the dishes you miss and share some delicious Indonesian recipes too.
We can trade travel stories, laugh about our adventures, and learn from each other’s worlds. You’ll get to see a bit of real local life here, and if you’d like, you can spend an hour chatting in English with my students (they’re full of curiosity and smiles!).
For me, having new friends visit our home brings a gentle kind of happiness that brightens our once quiet and predictable days. It’s not because we’re bored or trying to seem lively, but because every new person carries a warmth, a story, and an energy that makes our home feel more alive.
Come hungry, leave happy, and carry a pocket full of memories. Let’s make this stay something worth remembering!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love listening to The Beatles, Oasis, The Stone Roses, Green Day, Blink-182, and Simple Plan. A mix of classic and nostalgic tunes that always lift my mood.
Books: Some of my favorites are Harry Potter, The Four Agreements, The Secret of Divine Love, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck, and Ikigai. I enjoy books that inspire, heal, and make me think deeply.
Movies: I’m a big fan of Harry Potter, Studio Ghibli films, Empire of the Sun, Saving Private Ryan, Little Women, and the Before trilogy. I love movies that touch the heart and stay with you long after they end.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once conquered my fear of snakes on Snake Island in Bima, I even touched them! I also rode my motorcycle solo from Mataram to Dompu without a single rest stop (except on the ferry, of course). Oh, and I once finished the Harry Potter book in just two days.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching simple Indonesian dishes and a few local phrases, learning about other cultures and languages, and sharing stories, laughter, and hidden local spots that you won’t find on google maps.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer laughter, good conversations, help with cleaning, cooking, gardening, or anything you might need around the house. I love sharing Indonesian food, teaching simple phrases, or talking about local traditions. In return, I’d love to learn about your way of life.
