Hey, first-time user here. I downloaded this on a friend’s suggestion. I'm planning a solo trip to Barcelona, and maybe Rome? I'm not sure yet. It's just for a week. I'm looking for locals I can hang out with to show me the best local spots (and a few tourist attractions, of course). For me, the best way to experience a country is to see it through the eyes of the locals.

My not sense of humor and all-day banter? Ok maybe not. On a serious note, I am not really looking for a host to have a roof over my head, I am looking to have a company of whom I can share stories and experience and just have a good time with. I am willing to accommodate as much as the host will be, because I believe in the law of reciprocity: give back to those who give.
