ABOUT ME

I enjoy laughing, backpacking, climbing, and singing at the top of your lungs with your friends or complete strangers. I'm currently working on a tattoo collection. I write down funny things I hear strangers say at work and out in the world. Adventure is my main motivation in just about every aspect of my life. I know that this writing is awfully all over the place, but I guess that's part of who I am too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Getting the word out to friends who are about to set off on their own adventures. Once I've got a few stays under my belt, I'm sure I'll sing praises of this community from atop mountains and down to the diviest bars of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was in Minneapolis with Tara and Alexis. They showed me an amazing time! So much so I stayed an extra day just to chat and explore! It was incredibly refreshing to meet people who are on their own paths and doing spectacular things for the world we all live in. I hope to continue meeting more people who make this world great just by being in it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the skeleton of the largest known Tyrannosaurus Rex, Sue, at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois. You can't really describe being in the presence of a predatory animal that much larger than you.

I've been lucky enough to live in Yosemite National Park for almost two years, and in that time i've backpacked, scrambled, and climbed just about every weekend. It's hard to pick any one moment but climbing Cathedral Peak and seeing the waves of granite that are the park is up there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I didn't say it first, but "There's treasure EVERYWHERE!"

I want to learn as much about this planet we call home, and how I as a human relate to it.

I can share that there is time enough to do everything you desire, you just have to really do whatever it is you want. Dreams are the inspiration, it takes action to live out those dreams.
