ABOUT ME

I've just resigned from my full time job in Brisbane, Australia, to start living my dream of living in a different country amongst exotic cultures!

Off to Colombia to Teach English at Government schools for a year! I can't wait to meet children of all ages, be part of their lives and get an understanding of what life is like for them. My aim is to be able to help at least one student realise their desires in life.

I have travelled around the world, and Latin America has been my all time favourite. I can't get enough of the culture and people - the dancing, music, language and love!

I have met up with local people on Couch Surfing in various countries to do conversation exchange.

Recently, I have been inspired by Yoga and Meditation. These activities have helped me finally wake up to life and decide to follow my dreams.

When I have the chance I love dancing! To salsa and reggaeton music is my favourite.

I am extremely into health and fitness. Eating the right nutrients and getting daily exercise is very important to me.

Other sports I enjoy are surfing, swimming, pilates and tennis.

Currently, all I listen to is music in Spanish.
You might laugh but I love listening to reggaeton - J Alvarez, Daddy Yankee, Alkilados, Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel.
Also Juanes and Cabas are great Colombian artists.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The best thing I have done so far in my life is go alone to a small surfing town in Nicaragua for two months to do nothing but learn Spanish and surf!

I took advantage of the experience to really immerse myself in the moment.
Living with a local family with many family members - the mother/grandmother of the house, the brothers and sisters that were my age down to the young ones that I played with.

Dedicating every day to reach my goal of speaking Spanish, I made many friends with the local people. I soaked in every moment and could not have been happier.
