I'm a sparkly, cheerful, talkative, careful, cutesy trans girl with OCD. I'm naturally tidy, strive to be low impact and adapt myself to the energies of others, and am unfailingly optimistic and cheery. I can be a little anxious when I'm trying to make sure I'm not inconveniencing anyone, but other than that I'm very low-stress! 40 minutes is a short walk for me, but I tend to spend most of my time sitting or lying on my stomach, drawing and writing. I make the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had.

I moved in with my dad to save on rent but found his standard of living unbearable, and then I was laid off from the customer support job I'd had for 7 years, thanks to some downsizing. I found myself homeless and decided to make the most of it and use some savings to see a bit of the world before I settle down again.

I can talk forever about filmmaking, science news (especially biology), Pokémon, education, parenting, feminism, and gender. I like to draw (especially monsters!) and make music and sing and write. I love learning new things. I love insects and spiders. I love reading stories aloud to people.

I mostly read art books and children's books and comics: Moomintroll, The Great Brain, My Family and Other Animals, After Man by Dougal Dixon, Expedition by Wayne Barlowe, Roald Dahl, Pogo, Bone, Hernandez Brothers comics, Peanuts...I have a huge picture book collection in storage. My favourite book is Illusions by Richard Bach.

My music taste is so eclectic it's really really hard to answer this quickly. My favourite genres are (in no particular order): Glam Rock, Experimental, Pop, Electro, Neo-Trap, Alternative Hip-Hop, and above all, Shibuya-Kei. My favourite band has been Pizzicato Five since 2000 (the year they broke up, I believe... just my luck). I'm also a fan of Cocteau Twins, Justice, Cornelius, Cashmere Cat, Björk, 80's Madonna, Cibo Matto, Shonen Knife, Pixies, Prince, Rufus Wainwright, pretty much any PC Music artist... the list seems endless. I have to stop for now.

I like a lot of amazing animated films (Miyazaki films, Kon films, Studio 4°C films, Redline, Fantasia, etc.), a lot of ridiculously campy films (Dasepo Naughty Girls, Speed Racer, Cry Baby, Death Proof, Moulin Rouge!, Kill Bill, etc.), a lot of vintage comedies (any Marx Bros. film, Harold and Maude, Some Like It Hot, Help!, etc.), a few surreal something films (Eraserhead, Funky Forest: First Contact, etc.), and various classics (2001: A Space Odyssey, Pulp Fiction, Breakfast Club, Star Wars IV/V/VI, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, etc.).
