ABOUT ME

I live with my girlfriend, two blue pit bulls, 14 chickens, 6 chicks, 5 guineas, 2 peacocks, 30 hives of bees and some random fish and turtles. We are working on making our farm more sustainable and we are trying to grow more and more of our own food. We like to cook and try new recipes (which don't always go so well).

PHILOSOPHY

I don't think you should judge anyone for the actions they produce because you haven't lived their life. I do think actions have consequences though, and that you should live to try to minimize those actions that have negative consequences to others (and yourself). I don't dwell on the past, I don't worry about things, and I only make plans in case something more interesting doesn't happen. Plans and rules are made to be broken when they get in the way of progress.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't really plan to use other people's couches, because I only travel with dogs in tow, usually with my girlfriend, sometimes with other people too, and that's just too imposing for most people. I don't mind giving a free place to sleep to others though, because hotels are expensive and often unnecessary.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I am sad to say I really like the book/movie combos of Harry Potter, Twilight and now The Hunger Games. I also read a lot of reference books on things like chickens, gardening, how-to books, ect. I like most any music but country.

Everyone should visit California during the almond bloom at some point in their lives. It is truly spectacular.
