ABOUT ME

I am working in London, as an economist for the Government, hoping to make a difference in the world through my work... as well as trying to make sure my day job doesn't halt my creativity or adventure! I've been on a few epic cycle trips, I love hiking, camping, music, Scottish ceilidhs, organising bizarre events, swimming outdoors, the freedom of running, as well as curling up with a good book every now and then.

London is home to heaps of artistic events and communities of people making a change in the world, but I'm beginning to miss the peacefulness of quieter places and being outdoors...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have only just joined couchsurfing, but have hosted (and surfed) gardens and living rooms through warmshowers.net - a similar community but for touring cyclists

Interests

Love a bit of cycling, swimming outdoors, drinking vodka, collecting recipes... currently on a cycle trip from Kazakhstan through to Nepal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming off the Western Isles in Scotland in winter and returning to a peat fire for some Scottish music; listening to rainforest sounds in Peru.
