Hi there! I am Yuheng, a 22-year-old girl from Shenzhen, China. I used to study Education Sciences in Beijing, China. Now I am studying Social and Cultural Anthropology in Leuven, Belgium to pursue a Master's degree. Hope to engage in social work about youth, educational equality, mental health, etc. in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After traveling alone to many places, I found the "traditional" style of traveling--just going to the tourist attractions and having few chances to get to know the people well there--was not that interesting. I don't want to "copy" the traveling of the others either by following the travel guide, but sometimes it is hard to avoid :(

So I join this community to get to know more people when traveling :D It must be a lot of fun! I hope to know your life experiences and explore the world!
