HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Met an awesome dude my first time couchsurfing that I still keep in touch with, sometimes do the AirBnB thing. Basically, I very much like the culture of couchsurfing/ridesharing/hitchiking, and know that the more people who do it, the easier and safer it becomes.

One of the coolest things I've learned in the last few years is this (John Nash's idea): if you take two sheets of paper, crumple one up and place it on top of the flat one, there is at least one point "A1" on the crumpled up sheet that is directly above a point "A2" on the flat sheet, such that if you flatten out the crumpled up sheet and align it with the bottom sheet, the two points, "A1" and "A2," would be in the same place. To me that is just *so* cool.
