About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet people and explore the world, ending up in India.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Michigan in the United States. Most recently I have worked as an engineer designing professional audio equipment. I have been a musician my whole life and have a wide range of interested. I always enjoy learning or experiencing something new.
PHILOSOPHY
Recently I've become very interested in the Buddhist concept of mindfulness, and have enjoyed reading some of the works of Thich Naht Hanh. The idea is to be aware of yourself and your connections to the world around you at every moment. Not easy. :-)

Yikes, this could be a really long list. Here's just a couple of each:
Movies: Almost Famous, The Motorcycle Diaries, Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Music: Ben Folds, Herbie Hancock, Brahms
Books: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Raga Mala: The Autobiography of Ravi Shankar
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my side jobs is doing the sound for a dance band. A couple years ago we were invited to play for the Congressional Ball at the White House. We got the full tour and met the president as well. It was a very surreal experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
A bad recording of a great performance is far better than a great recording of a bad performance.
