About Me

Hi! I'm a student who likes to travel and learn more about other country and cultures. I have a serious case of a resting bitch face but I assure you, I'm really nice once you've met me. I'm also not a morning person, but when I travel, I hardly sleep since I'm always excited to start new adventures. I listen to all kinds of music, when I was younger my co-workers called me "Didi the Juke-box" since I knew almost all of their olds rocks songs, and I love to watch a movie, even if it's a bad one.
On a more important note, I don't take much space, I clean after myself, I'm very polite and thankfull. I do my best to do something in exchange for people who helps me, I firmly believe in good-manners and Karma.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard that this site is one of the best to make new friends and connections during a travel, so im trying it out. I would really like to be a host someday to live the experience to it's fullest. But for now I must stick to the couchsurfing until I get my own appartment.

I traveled some place in the last few years and I went to some hotels, bed'n'breakfast and hostels but I wasn't alone. Also, you don't make much friend in these places.

I will start my first solo travel soon and I'm a little worried, for a shy person like me, that I won't make many friends if I stick to those kind of places. Discovering new people and new places with some locals (and possibly new friends) would be a relief.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, you can't beat me on that one. I can't really name my favorite books or movies, because it always depends on my mood and on the type of book/movie. Except, of course, the HP series and the Pirates of the Caribbean series (let's be honest, the 4th one was a disaster), those are the classics. Do I even have to mention Disney? Everybody loves Disney's movies (if you don't, that's ok, I can deal with it: I will sing the songs for both of us, I'm not even sure I know them in english anyway). BIG Marvel fan. Sorry DC, Wonderwoman was really empowering, but that's about it.
Also, on netflix I've fallen in love with the ''That 70's show'' serie, Kitty Forman is my spirit animal.
To get back to the books part, I've seriously read too many books to choose one or two to be my favorites, just ask me about it in person, I have a lot to say.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think they are extraordinary, but they're surely funny. Just ask me when we met. A lot of weird shits happens to me all the time, but I'm always lucky on how it ends.
I have a serious badluck when it comes to my flights on the way back home.

Teach, Learn, Share

My first language is French, so if you're willing to learn, I will do my best to teach you. I can also give you a lot of random fun-facts about the Harry Potter movies AND books.
I also know a lot of random facts, it seems to be easier to remember this stuff instead of what's gonna be on the exam at the end of the semester, don't know why.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, nice evening, maybe a drink (I'm sorry I don't drink coffee, I'm almost ashamed of it ahaha). To have someone to hangout with a little would be awesome.
