I grew up without a hometown because I was always moving with my family and was never part of the surrounding communities. I moved to New York and adopted it as home six years ago. I'm a city dweller, dog walker, government worker, and story lover.

I want to solve problems. People are quick to judge, to fight, to "other" one another. Listening to each other's stories, and adopting each other's realities as our own is a first step to building communities worldwide that can work together to solve big problems, and this is what I want to focus on as a traveler.

I love activities involving hardware stores - building things, hanging and decorating, home improvement. I also enjoy eating food cooked by friends, learning about science, and dancing with abandon.
