ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 years old exchange student living in Roskilde, Denmark, but I'm originally from Montreal, Canada. I love to laugh and travel. I'm a really simple girl. People often say that I am a quite mature girl for my young age. I even discovered my first white hair the other day. *Sigh* If you ever need me, you'll find me in a bar, watching a comedy show.

PHILOSOPHY

I came to Europe to live a different life than I did back in Montreal. Now I can't wait to go back. I needed this to know I'm really from where I'm from. I always tend to see myself in the future, and can't seize the moment. That is the challenge I give myself for the rest of my life: live the moment, girl. It's gonna pass by and before you know it, you'll be old and grey.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I'm traveling around Europe for the summer 2013, and I need places to stay (you'll get requests from me, be prepared, mehehe). However, whenever I'm back in Montreal and in an apartment, I'm looking forward to host guests the way I've been hosted a few times already.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couch surfing around Denmark last month for the first time, and it was one hell of an experience! The people we've met were so welcoming. They offered us amazing dinner parties with their friends, and crazy nights in the city center. They were quite the entertainment, while making us visit the cool places to go. We could say we made friends.

Interessi

I love to write and to have a good laugh with people around a cold beer on a terrace. I love talking about politics and places I've been. I'm a wine and good food lover. But that doesn't keep me from having a good cheeseburger from time to time.
I love music, literature, tv shows, but hate movies. I can't stand the idea to stay in front of a screen for more than an hour and a half, concentrating on the same story. I need diversity,
I'm also a writer in a blog called "Boucle Magazine". I write funny articles about my exchange student experience, as well as the comedy scene back in Quebec.

Musica, film e libri

Movies: I've seen only a few, but my favorites would be Quebec comedies.
Music: mostly rock music, but while in Europe I discovered myself a passion for electro music.
Books: Geai, any Michel Tremblay books and plays, Au bonheur des ogres, Gaston Miron poetry... You get the vibe: French stuff. But I'm in love with the Harry Potter books.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Climb a dune in Skagen (Denmark), by the Baltic Sea. There was an abandoned lighthouse. It was the windiest. I was on top of the world.

I don't know what to write here. So I'll just say: LET'S COUCH SURF. Couch surfing is the new nursery for life. It gives you experience and tools to start your life in a new way.
