I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S.A. in Biology. I’m a highly curious individual with a thirst for knowledge and adventure. I constantly seek new experiences and perspectives. I strive to live with humility, compassion, and integrity I believe in hand-written thank you cards, and trying to meeting people where they are (emotionally, culturally, etc.) . I enjoy hiking + backpacking, working with my hands, gardening/small scale farming, reading, drawing, star gazing, dancing, climbing, and experience culture (art, music, human expression.)

For me, traveling is about making connections, not comparisons. I'm on Couchsurfing to meet some people who feel the same way! The community facilitates unique experiences that can remind us how awesome humanity can be in a time when it's easy to latch on to hatred and prejudice.
