About Me

Hi everyone, we are Audrey and Pavlos. We met in Crete almost three years ago when Pavlos offered to host Audrey at his home in Chania, Crete, Greece when Audrey was traveling the world on a gap-year. She only stayed for a few days, then, through some pretty wild circumstances, she came back to Crete right before the COVID lockdowns started.

We know, we know, couchsurfing is NOT a dating site, but sometimes when the two right souls meet, the circumstances do not matter.

About Audrey:
I am doing my Master's in Political Science in France. I am from Tahiti, an island in French Polynesia. I am always looking to improve my self through self-reflection and meditation. I have been doing tarot card readings for several years and am starting up my own tarot-reading business.

My interests include: spirituality, astrology, numerology, personal development, and, like everyone else here, travelling! Check out my profile here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2008435450

About Pavlos:
I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec but have been living on the island of Crete, in Greece, for the past ten years. I am an online English teacher and have been teaching for almost ten years now.

My interests include: archeology, photography, gardening, permaculture, coffee, freediving, SCUBA diving, hiking, exploring, motorcycles and off-grid living. Check out my profile here: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/bishopspappy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are traveling through South America now and, as always, try to experience the cultures we visit through the eyes of locals. We are both learning Spanish, though Audrey is much more advanced than Pavlos is at the moment.

We believe that food culture is a great way to discover the history and tastes of the people whose countries we visit, and so far, we have to say: Bravo Peru! :)

Going to local's favourite eateries, wineries, bars, archeological sites, hidden nature spots and spending time with them, doing the things they do on a normal weekend is the best way to travel in our opinion.
