About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be upside down in as many oceans as possible

ABOUT ME

Heya!!
I'm a student from Sydney but spend far more time doing things i love like swimming, dancing, setting my hair in pin curls, eating cheese and spending too much money on 1940s lingerie.

I'm very open-minded and feminism is super duper important to me

PHILOSOPHY

What would RuPaul do?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None!
I am yet to become involved in CS but I am briefly going to Europe over June/July/August and looking forward to meeting lots of new people.

I currently live in a student co-operative of 39 people, and the best part is definitely meeting people from all over the world and learning from them.

Interests

I love both artistry and being active, which has lead me to be a synchronised swimmer for five years. I currently coach and love teaching people how to stay upside down underwater.

I also love dancing, riding my bike, baking, burlesque, vintage clothing and make up, gardening, anything to do with glitter and sequins and watching my friends get knocked over in roller derby.

Ohhhh, and animals!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music... anything!! From Elvis, disco, Of Montreal, Kate Bush, riot grrrl, Big Freedia, Jesus and Mary Chain, Hole, the Knife, Joy Division..........

As far as books, I really like classic literature, and Stoppard, Camus and Garcia Marquez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived with family in their remote Indigenous community at Lombadina, 3 hours north of Broome for a month.
Everyday we could walk to the beach and swim with dugongs and turtles.

Teach, Learn, Share

Synchronized swimming, Gamilaraay (Indigenous Australian language from Northern NSW), drawing, vintage hair and make up and cooking are some of the things I would be happy to share with people.
I love learning too though, and am involved in the Sydney Free School
