Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience is when I visited NYC as my first time traveling solo. Through living with born-and-raised true New Yorkers, I left the City feeling like a local, not a tourist. This is what inspires me to learn about every city from locals' perspective. Which is totally doable with couchsurfing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kite flying at 3 in the morning with a scenic view of Singapore's Marina Bay after laying down for hours on the floor of Gardens by the Bay, watching the night sky.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sometimes, strangers are your best teachers. One of my good friend is a girl who sat beside me (and mistook me for someone else) in the airplane years ago. My favourite photographer is a lady who needed help to held her 2 big professional cameras at ferryboat we were in. Do not hesitate to make friends with strangers. They might surprise you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some live-saving medical techniques and medications. A lot of times passengers passed away in the airplanes because there is no healthcare professional to save them during their flight. You as a traveller are bound to face this condition sometime in your journey and if you successfully help save people's lives during your travel? That's something you will always tell people about wherever you go.
