About Me

When I finished my undergrad in 2010 I decided to travel the world instead of going straight to work. Over the course of two years I visited places like Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Thailand. I've been to twelve countries altogether (I think?).

I've done some hitchhiking and couchsurfing outside of the CS community.

My couch situation is not that great at the moment, but you're welcome to stay. I have a pretty crappy single air mattress, but there's plenty of room if you have your own

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted people in Bangkok and a couple of people at my current home in Des Plaines (near Chicago / O'Hare). Travelers are my people, so I'm trying to give back to the community and spend more time with travelers.

Cliffjumping in a variety of places.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have plenty of stories to share from my travels - from hitchhiking in the heart of Australia, to swimming with bioluminescent plankton, I have a lot of good memories.

I've done ESL teaching in Thailand and a whole bunch of budget traveling and adventure sports. If you're curious about any of that I'm your guy.
