About Me
Hi guys, my name is Augie.
My nationality is Korean (South, lol) but also I live in Leicester, England as an international "MATURE" student.
My major is Communication and Media Studies of Loughborough Universtiy.
Indeed, I commute to Loughborough from my apartment in term time, it usually takes an hour. But, you don't have to worry about me at all. I actually enjoy this little trips quite a bit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The reason is so simple, I could make new friends and get new adventures!
(Like, I am also new to live here, Leicester, you and I could be companions to walk through here.)
I love to chit-chat with strangers and listen to their lives. If someone asks me who you are, I briefly speak that I am the one who has a great interest in every single person's life. I believe all of the people have their own originality, and it could inspire me to improve myself, being creative and having diverse experience.
Before everything else, I live in a one bedroom apartment, and here are one sofa-bed and one futon. Meaning, I don't have any reasons that hesitating to join Couchsurfing, right?

Music, Movies, and Books
I truly believe that there are moments in a person’s life when a piece of art is so moving, that they finally feel understood. For me, that came in a movie called "Call Me by Your Name." The credits show the main character, Elio, silently crying.
It is one of the rare movies where people don’t actually leave during the credits. That was when I saw the power of art (particularly in film) and its ability to transcend people’s differences. Everyone in that theatre knew exactly how that character felt. I ended up watching the film eight times. I have also read the book, and I have done countless drawings of Timothée Chalamet. I can get lost in drawing him, as drawing is my way of expressing my great love for this movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am not sure that I could say it is one amazing thing, but I did, "Resigned from the company" and I am doing, "Being a freshman again!"
Teach, Learn, Share
One thing I look forward to since I decided Couchsurfing is that I wish I could learn something from people who visit my apartment. It doesn't have to be skilful things, just please be sharing your and my tiny wisdom.
But, if you insist to teach me great skill and knowledge, I wouldn't press you to stop that.
