Overview
About Me
I’m Ammar from Oman, a camping lover, outdoors enthusiast, and someone who finds peace in nature. I love traveling solo, discovering hidden places like wadis, mountains, and remote beaches across Oman.
I also run August Camp Oman, a personal passion project where I organize camping trips and connect with others who enjoy simple, real experiences in nature.
I’m also into sea life, swimming, snorkeling, water sports, grilling BBQ, and have a big passion for coordinating and styling streetwear outfits.
Always open to meeting new people, sharing adventures, or even just catching a movie at the cinema!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Music/ I’m into chill vibes, lo-fi, chill house, hip-hop, rap, and even some countryside tracks. Depends on the mood but always something that fits the moment.
Movies/ I love action, adventure, and horror movies, especially in the cinema. I sometimes even plan movie outings with people.
Books/ Honestly, not much of a reader, i would rather live the story than read it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach/ How to camp in the wild, cook outdoors, Omani culture.
Learn/ About new cultures, photography tips, and world travel stories.
Share/ My local travel experience, hidden nature spots in Oman, and campfire talks.
