I am currently traveling Europe alone and for the first time. I am a musician and love to jam with others or even perform one of my own tunes. I am bringing only a backpack and a small guitar. Arriving in a new place for the first time is such a great feeling. I'm up for anything and I hope to have an amazing adventure.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I like the challenge of traveling cheaply. I'm going to be mostly hitching from town to town. That doesn't mean I won't indulge myself with a fine meal often. I just wouldn't have fun staying in hotels and rubbing elbows with tourists (even though I am a tourist as well). I want to meet the locals and see a day in the life of some one on the other side of the planet. I've always preferred this method of travelling and I think I always will. I plan on using air bnb and staying in some hostels as well.

Intereses

I have a degree in electrical engineering. Some call me a mad scientist. I like to tinker and I am constantly fixing things. Maybe you need somethings repaired at your house? But most importantly I fancy myself an artist. I write songs and perform them with my band in California. We are almost finished with our second album.

I mainly listen to American roots and blues music. But I appreciate all music. I'd like to hear a lot of traditional music from the different countries I visit on this trip. I read a lot of fiction but this time I've packed the Joseph Campbell Companion.

My latest job was building and running the most technologically advanced Bio diesel refinery in the world. Unfortunately, the falling oil prices made them downsize significantly and so now I find myself without a job and with a lot of time. In college I designed and built an award winning electric guitar the tuned itself. But I am most proud of the music am making now.
