Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I checked out Couchsurfing at the recommendation of a professional contact, whose opinion I respected. My resulting experience hosting Stephanie and Stephane was so great, it convinced me to go ahead with my own AirBnB. I hosted people in my home for short-term vacations for an entire summer. While that experience too was a good one, it was disruptive for my family; so I’ve gone back to the idea of making Couchsurfing more of a hobby. I hope for my first outing as a Couchsurfer sometime this year.
