Hello, I am Aura Xilonen and right now I am in a residence for writers in Zürich for six months.
I study cinematography in Puebla, Mexico because I would like to direct feature films one day.
I love knowing all about other cultures, history, movie recommendations, books, also fun and funny facts.
Sometimes I find myself immersed in writing but do not take it personal because I dedicate myself to it. I really like being at home creating but I can also go out with you and show you the city although you will realize that I don't know too much either.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because I think that when you have the space or the possibility you have to be charitable and someday life will return it to you. I have always been a shy person but thanks to my boyfriend who has supported me in sharing, meeting people and practicing English, what better way to do it than in couchsurfing.
The best way to thank me would be for you to read my book some day and tell me what you think, what made you feel and above all, if you enjoyed it.

I have a novel that won an award in 2015 and is now translated into eight languages, which has made me travel around the world.

I can tell you about good movies and good literature. I can share how the film industry works. If you want to learn a little Spanish, I would also be happy to help.
