ABOUT ME

No, you are not going to get all 4 of us knocking on your door :) well not all at once....we are all prolific travellers. This pic is of me and my 3 wonderful kids, taken last Christmas. I have been traveling thru South America since Jan 2011 and was hoping to post some pics from trip, but lost all my photos from my memory card in Peru, then 2 weeks later lost my camera in Peru! However I have experienced how much more present I am when I am not looking for the perfect picture. Wont stop me getting a new camera tho! This is the trip one does when the kids have all grown up and left home :) Travelling and all that involves is a great joy to me. I am pretty laid back, quiet, respectful of others, and a non smoker, but that doesnt mean I dont like to have fun! Life is wonderful and can be magic when we keep a smile in our heart, seek the best in people, and look always make the most of every day.

PHILOSOPHY

Most of the time I live in peace and harmony with myself and the earth and all people, and welcome the day when everyone carries peace in their heart towards themselves and others. We need to drop our fears and prejudices and realise that we are all part of the one big human family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Presently I am travelling for several months and would love to connect with other couch surfers and hosts, and when I return to Australia later in 2011 look forward to being able to provide hospitality for other couch surfers. We all have so much to share :)

Interests

Travelling!!! Meeting people from all over the world, trying different foods and wines, walking in nature, dancing, yoga, reading, silk painting, keeping fit and healthy, spending times with great friends and family. Taking photos, even I promptly lose them all!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love travel writers. Pete McCarthy and Bryce Courtenay are vey funny. Also love Paul Coehlo, I think ive read every book he has written. Movies? don´t get to see too many, but really enjoy it when I do as long as theres no violence. One movie I recently enjoyed very much was The Kings Speech.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Machu Picchu recently, a dream come true!! So awesome, I would love to return one day, soon I hope! Also, giving birth to and raising 3 wonderful kids has been pretty amazing, and a great joy.

Teach, Learn, Share

My career for the past 20 years has been in natural therapies, meditation and healing, and I have much to share in this area. Prior to that I had a career in Travel, and my travels have taught me much about the world and life. I also know a little about Thai cooking, one of my favourite cuisines.
