ABOUT ME

What I like the most in life is taking the time to discover the things we're unfamiliar with. I love travelling, meeting new people, taking off for an adventure... And each time, the experience is so perfect that I always want to see more and discover more of that world we live in.

I'm up to any kind of travel adventure: going on a weekend to a surprised destination with some friends, camping or backpacking, deciding at the last minute that I'm flying to some place I've never been to... But what I like the most are road trips! And the people you meet along the way, will most of the time become friends, you'll keep in touch with for a very long time.

Otherwise, I spend my free time doing yoga (a new passion), reading, doing sports, going to the cinema and mostly seeing my friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spent three months in Ireland (Dublin) and discovered this awesome website. I've always met very friendly couchsurfers since then and of course I'm always looking forward to renew the experience!
I can't host anybody for now since I live in a very small apartment but I'll be very happy to show you around if you want to or have a drink anytime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never hosted anyone, since I've always had the same apartment.
At first I'd only met couchsurfers to go and have a drink or visit cities or again go to a party...
And one summer, I went to the USA for a road trip with a friend of mine and started the experience! We made some friendships that are likely to last a lifetime! The delight was such that I would like to renew the experience anytime I travel abroad.

I'm working on Edith Wharton as part of my PhD and I've really come to love what she wrote. I love American literature in general.

My musical tastes are pretty varied, although I don't really like Rap and Hard rock.

As for movies, I would go for the sentimental ones ;-)

Skydiving
Taking a plane by myself to a place I've never been to, hiring a car, driving on the other side of the road by a very bad weather and ending up in a huge empty, scary manor house...

I love teaching (well, that's kind of my job! ;) ) and I'm very patient. But I also love to learn from others. I'm completely fond of challenges.
