About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'd like to explore my future home, Madison, Wisconsin.

ABOUT ME

John Adams is my favorite president. I don't mind being poor. I like to drink beer and dance in my living room.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I don't think we'll ever have a universal theory of everything, I do think that most creation is actually discovery, and I think the publicity of reasons can ground objective moral truths.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't yet host, but as soon as I get my place in Madison, which I'm hoping will be a two bedroom, I'd love to host travelers. Right now I myself am the traveler. I'd like to explore Madison and look at apartments. From the research I've done online, I know I'll love it there. Now it's time to take the next step and see for myself.

Interests

Philosophy, mathematics, music, design, pets and non-pets, literature, dance, food, drink....I guess I like to enjoy myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bukowski (my favorite misanthrope).

Godel, Escher, Bach.

Beirut, which makes me want to dance and drink and be with people.
Janis Joplin
Neko Case
The Impressions
B.B. King --listen to the live version of "You Done Lost Your Good Thing"

The Lives of Others.
Paris, Texas -- I like films that make you feel things, but don't spoon feed emotions and story lines to you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I pulled myself up by my bootstraps just like Republicans are always telling people they should. Really, I had a rough childhood with almost no support and I actually reached down and pulled myself up out of a hole. I went back to school after having dropped out of high school, got into UCLA, and now I'm going into law school in beautiful Madison. You know what I learned from that experience? That nobody should ever have to do it alone, and that we should have social programs in place to help those who are in the very situation I was in. I survived it. Some wont.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Italy, Mexico, United States
