My name is Aurélie, I'm French. I grew up in Colmar, in the North East of France and this is where I have my roots. I work in the music industry as a project manager to export the artists abroad. I'm jumping up and down, and I'm moving to Australia soon! For me, travelling is a real passion, and I really feel free when I'm abroad. I feel like everything is possible. I already traveled a lot in Asia, Europe and Canada. I love to discover other cultures and meet new people in order to discover a country or a city from the inside. Travelling is not just to swallow up miles, but it's more to take time to chat with people on the corner of a street, to eat something special, to discover a local band. Actually to leave with your mind open to something that you don't know yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer to discover a country with the people who know it from the inside. Also, I love to meet new people and different way of thinking. I prefer much more sleeping on a sofa and discussing with people, than being alone in a hotel room, surrounded by other tourists!
And on my side, if I can be of any help for someone in my city, it will be a pleasure to help and to share my town secrets :)

Interests

I love music and festivals, culture and reading. I'm quite curious of everything so it's difficult to synthetize my interests in a few lines. I also love travelling, cooking, reading, visiting... I'm a normal people actually ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed by night the Mount Fuji and arrived on the top for the sun rising. That was amazing! I was astonished!
I traveled alone in Thailand and I met there a really nice barmaid who welcomed me in his family to visit his hometown.
