Hi! I'm Auréline, from Belgium. I've built some of my best life experiences exploring foreign countries and I'm always looking for new adventures. I enjoy travelling slowly and off the beaten track whenever I get a chance to, especially if it leads to unexpected frienship. I play the violin and the piano, practise fitness training and yoga, love mountaineering, reading and drinking good wine (although not all three at the same time, too challenging ;)

Amongs my favorite bands/singers are U2, The Corrs, Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, The Pogues, The Beatles, Flogging Molly, The Cranberries, Johnny Cash, Katie Melua, Tina Arena, Soldat Louis, Cré Tonerre, El Cuarteto de nos, La vela puerca, Lola Flores, Céline Dion... I'm particularly fond of Irish trad music. Also love Spanish coplas, Argentinian tangos, Andean trad music, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling on my own through South America, hiking in the Andes, the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Picos de Europa and Connemara, as well as walking bits of the Camino de Santiago are most certainly some of my best life experiences. Reading Thomas Mann's "Magic Mountain" was also kind of an achievement (anyone who's done so knows what I mean!)
