ABOUT ME

My name is Lauren. I could say this and that about myself but at the end of the day it could all be a load of crud. What I like to believe about myself is that I have a good heart, and I hope this at least is true. I am married and have two little ones. We've just moved to London (July 2014) and will be here for the next 2 and a half years.

PHILOSOPHY

This is a tough one. I have too many. And sometimes I don't stick to them or follow my own advice.

I love the concept of making the world a better place, one couch at a time. Meeting people of all kinds makes life so much more interesting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is an awesome way to meet people and get to know a culture and city more personally. I have couchsurfed once and have had a few couchsurfers stay with me, it is rewardng both ways.

I love nature, walking and hiking, riding my bike, adventure sports, and other activities that involve the elements! I absolutely love fresh fruit and vegetables, whole foods and natural products.

Love rnb music, sometimes alternative, sometimes top 40, sometimes a bit of dance, sometimes just the sounds of nature and silence.
Bryce Courtenay is my fav author, have read almost all of his books.
Love bios, and also books that are based on true stories too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

7 months of continuous travel around Asia and Europe, 5 of those months on my own. Followed by 2 months of being unemployed, 2 months of work, and then another 3 months travelling europe again. Did that in what feels like another life. Now I am married with two kids, who've opened up a whole new world for me. These days, I find trucks and diggers pretty amazing, because they light up my kid's faces!
