Howdy! I’m Auri and “about me” sections give me anxiety. I’m a backpacker, and an obsessive traveler. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2015 with a degree in Natural Resources Conservation, and since then I’ve worked for both the National Park Service And the National Forest Service. After a season working for the NFS in Montana I headed back east to begin a hike from East Tennessee to the border of Kansas. Now my plan is to fund my way through hiking every major long distance trail in the US and beyond. I’m also a major tree nerd, so if you like trees then I probably like you!
