I am Aurore. I am a French young women.
I studied fashion and textile design in the city of Lyon, in France. Now that I finished my studies, I want to take the time to make a long stay in Japan because it's my dream to discover this country. Why Japan ? I love japanese traditional culture and aesthetics. It is a great source of inspirations for my creativ work. Just one exemple : 木漏れ日, I love the fact Japanese people have a special word to describe the light that filters through the trees leaves of tree. ^_^

I love creative activities like sewing, painting, drawing, photography. I would love to discover Japanese arts and crafts techniques.

I like visiting museums, seeing theater and danse performances. I love dancing, and singing also (especialy in my shower^^).

I love learning foreign languages. I took a one-week Japanese begginer class last summer, and I am willing to learn more so that I can have little conversations in Japanese !

I grew up in the French countryside and love nature, especially hiking. I want to discover the beautiful landscapes of Japan.
I try to have an ecological lifestyle. I try not to buy so much industrial stuffs, and not to possess so much things.

I love cooking. I would love to learn Japanese cooking, and it will be my pleasure to cook for you some of my favorite recipes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will travel to Japan from October2017 to May2018, and I want to discover Japan from the inside. To me that means meeting Japanese people, living with them, and hopefully becoming friends.
