About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life!!

ABOUT ME

Australian and currently living there. i did spend 4 years overseas in Sweden, Germany and England where I was on youth exchange then worked as a nanny, in Burger King, at a bike rental and as a kindergarten teacher. Of course also during that time I was travelling around Europe and seeing all the sights and delights of the place. I am fascinated by different languages and cultures and how they vary. I live close to the beach and even closer to a lake. I enjoy hanging out with friend, having a good laugh and meeting new people. I love to make big dreams and not give up until I get where I want or somewhere better.
I am forever dreaming of my next destination but I guess we all really are.

PHILOSOPHY

Giving up doesn't mean your weak.....
Sometimes it just means your strong enough to let go...

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. You will need to make healthy decisions. It requires sacrifice. You will need to push your body to its max. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal and it will be worth it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed a few times when I lived in Europe. I have always had the most amazing time. People have always been so hospitable and welcoming.
I have also had a number of friends and friends of friends stay with me when I lived in Germany.
I often tell people about couch surfing and I find they either think we are all crazy or love the idea.

Now that I have returned home to Australia, I still like to be involved with travellers as I love the stories, the opportunities and because travellers looked after me and I want to return the favour.

Interests

I enjoy other peoples culture and seeing how much things are different from how I grew up. I love the water and everything about it. jetskiing, waterskiing, the beach, scuba diving, snorkeling etc. Spending time with family and friends new or old. I love to be outside, especially with animal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the beginning of 2013 I spent 3 weeks volunteering in the jungle of Cambodia, where we had no electricity and no running water. During this time I learnt more about my self and what I can handle than I ever have before. The people warmed your heart, they had nothing and yet the children did not complain, they could live off the land and easily survive. While I was their I climbed mountains, learnt the value of water and even ate tarantula, it's actually rather yum.
It was truly amazing.
