ABOUT ME

Hey there!!

I'm Sophie, and i'm an outgoing, bubbly, 21yo from Australia, specifically Perth :) I love meeting new people and exploring new places. One of my favourite past time is being able to chill out with beer, especially in the hot Australian summers!

I studying Advertising and Marketing at uni and love it. I'm currently completing study abroad in Bellingham, Washington and heading back to Australia early January.

I travelled around Europe for five and a half months in 2008 and not once did I manage to catch up with a fellow couch surfer which was pretty disappointing.

I get really excited about traveling and experiencing the world and what it has to offer! Meeting new people, tasting weird and wonderous foods and of course learning all I can about various cultures.

Movies, Schmovies! It's all about television series in my life! In particular The L word, Sex and The City, Glee, Greys Anatomy & The Sopranos, just to name a few!

As for movies I really like:
Studio Ghibli :)

Music makes my world go round! I'm currently into:
Tegan and Sara, La Roux, Paramore, Eminem, Lily Allen, Rihanna. Also really like Deep Forest, Enigma, Enya and most metal as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled Europe with a best friend for five months. The Highs and Lows of the trip have given us a connection that can't be broken.

Highlight: Skydiving over the Swiss alps in a small village called Lauterbrunnen. Close to Interlaken - if anyone knows there.

Also, living in Santorini for 2 weeks on roughly $10 a day, so cheap! Watching the sunset in Oia was awesome but honestly, i get it every day in Perth :D

Traveling New York City by myself, it took me so long to get there and was over in what seemed like minutes!
