I'm a university student from Edmonton, Canada with a great passion for traveling. I have great ambitions of studying law after I finally finish my undergraduate in arts, but until then I'm enjoying life and hoping to get as much traveling in as I can before the real world truly takes hold.

I'm passionate about music and try to make that as big a part of my traveling as possible. Other than that, I'm crazy about funky and fancy cocktails and am known amongst my friends as a bit of foodie. Being Canadian, there’s an imbedded love for winter sports; this manifests itself in skiing and hockey for me.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I am currently undertaking my greatest adventure to date; a tour of Europe and a semester abroad in beautiful Cortona, Italy. Anything that can make this journey better and more fulfilling is something I'm more than open to.

A great friend of mine raved about his wonderful experiences couchsurfing and the amazing people he met, I'm sold! I would love to give it a try, meet new people, have new experiences, and saving few bucks along the way never hurts!

I love the music of Taj Mahal, Foy Vance, The Bros. Landreth (and Joey Landreth), Julian Lage, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and of course Bryan Adams. I like tons of other stuff; anything bluesy, funky, phresh, soul, or with great guitar work will likely make me pretty darn happy.

My taste in movies is even more broad! Classic comedies from days past, the likes of Airplane!, Blazing Saddles, or The Jerk always hold a place in my heart. That being said, I also have a soft spot for any cheesy action movie. To supplement all this silliness I will watch practically any obscure documentary on Netflix, I like to think this makes me a somewhat well rounded person.

I have not been a huge reader in years past, mostly focusing on the rigorous readings of my studies to get me through. However my discovery of the works of Kurt Vonnegut is quickly changing this!

I can make a mean New York Sour, I'll bring the booze! If that's not your speed I like to think I'm a mean bartender and can probably craft you something you'll love.

If you're a musician, I would love to make sweet sweet music with you! Think of me as a freeloading jam buddy, like the bandmate you don't want to kick off your couch because he's just such an asset to the group! Bonus: If you're not a musician I will serenade you with beautiful songs, or just hip you to some great bands!

I am also a brunch fanatic! Although I'm not much of a chef... But if you play your cards right, I would love to take you out to your favourite brunch spot. I'm always up for a good brunch.
