Hello my name is Austin Davis. I have made it my goal 6 months ago to see as many places as I possibly could and that is exactly what I am doing. I sold everything I owned, quit my job, and hit the road. So far my travels have taken me as far as Australia to Japan to Mexico to the Bahamas and I do not wish to stop anytime soon. My hunger to see the world has only been increased with every place I visit and I want to continue that mission for as long as I can.

I am 22yrs old and I am a college drop out. I have worked just about every job imaginable from construction to car sales to painting and tattooing. I truly believe that you can learn far more from people and the places you go than you ever could from a text book and that is why I made the decision to steer away from the traditional path of 9-5 work weeks and pursue my true passion of travel. I have several hobbies including, painting, tattooing, drawing, illustrating, photography, mountain climbing, kayaking, snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding. Basically, if I am active and outside I am a happy clam. There is a lot to me. How could one possibly know from a short bio? Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly because I am a starving artist trying to travel the world and unfortunately that does cost a great deal of money, so if I can save a few bucks wherever possible I gladly will.

Also, I just love meeting people. No matter where you're from, what your beliefs are or what color your skin is, I truly believe everyone is a learning opportunity, so what better way to learn than to see the real them?

People have told me that I'm an old soul and I think my taste in music definitely reflects that. I love anything from classic rock, such as, led zepplin, Johnny Cash and the rolling stones to blues like muddy waters and of course old school hip hop like, WuTang Clan, Mos Def, and Mobb deep.

Movies: Anything directed by Guy Ritchie and Quinton Tarantino, Inglorious bastards, fight club, Cloud Atlas, Pulp Fiction, and Star Wars are some of my favorites.
