I'm Austin, grew up in Calabasas for most of my adolescence but did spend a few years in the Gold Coast of Australia. I work in the film industry and have worked in the non-profit sector for international health organizations. I also have some graphic and web design experience.

I love to travel! (Like most people on this site, I'm sure) Music festivals are life. Dabble in some photography.

I've studied Film/TV, Philosophy, Communications, Debate, Spanish, French, and Photography.

I think that my about me speaks to the fact that I love to travel and experience new things.

I would add that meeting new people is always a pleasure and to me couchsurfing is an interesting way of doing so while also getting to travel and more.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I find that I am such a lover of film that I can be encaptured by almost any film. (Of course I will analyse thoroughly after the fact but in the moment, I am almost always enthralled.)

Music is similar to my taste in movies. I can find a piece that I love in almost every genre. I do however, listen to classical music while getting ready in the mornings haha.

I prefer sci-fi, and fiction books for leisure but many times will opt for educational simply due to my nature and time constraints.

Um, I once saved a woman from being evicted from her apartment while serving on Jury Duty. It all came down to a miscommunication due to her inability to speak English. Luckily I speak spanish, because her translator was not doing her and her family any favors.
