Hey! i'm Austin, an 18 year old Canadian kid from British Columbia. This summer i am loosely travelling all over Europe. I am truly a down to earth, easy going person who lives for laughter and a good time. I am an individual with a kind and understanding heart which lets me better connect with my surroundings and the community in it. As a young person with the world at his finger tips and with so much more to learn i hope this trip and you're company helps me with that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason i'm on couch surfing is to get a closer connection with the country/city and people I'm visiting, whether it be through conversation, food, or just good company.

With my eagerness and simply the unknown of going somewhere you haven't ever been before is what makes travelling so attractive to me. Through my adventures of Canada and northern United States i've made memories, eaten food and met people i will never forget! I wish to broaden my adventures and memories hopefully with you and the place you call home.

I enjoy most music genres, more importantly those that fall under the Rap/Hip-Hop and Dance/EDM culture. Though i hold myself to mostly 2 genres, i find an appreciation in the art of all music.

Much like music, sports has a massive influence in my life. Being Canadian i can proudly boast about the success we have had in ALL ice sports but the NBA, boxing, NFL, football, and olympics are what catches my attention. Myself and many surrounding me would consider myself as an athlete in all sports but excels in boxing and basketball.

Everybody loves food but not everybody gets the chance the spend the summer travelling Europe tasting formal European dishes. I am looking forward trying all authentic plates from all over!

Meeting new people along this journey wether they're hosting me or my neighbour on the tram is what interests me. Everybody has something interesting to say and that is what i'm looking forward to most on this trip is meeting interesting and genuine people.

My favourite artists are Jay z, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, etc etc.. When it comes to movies i'm a huge comedy and horror fan, my favourite actor is Seth Rogen (from Vancouver, BC)
