I'm from a small town in central California and love traveling the world. I’m pretty easy going and enjoy the simple things, even when traveling. I love having intentional time with friends and being outdoors. Whether it’s at a coffee shop enjoying the fresh air, going on a walk with friends, or kayaking down my local river.

I love the charm of a small town like where I grew up, but growing up here has also drawn me to the allure of the big city and what it has to offer. Wherever I am, I think one of the most rewarding things to do is connect with locals. I love meeting new people, sharing experiences together, and learning something new along the way.

I think meeting locals is the best part of going to a new place. I’m hoping I can use this platform to connect with others during my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love small bands, particularly in the folk & indie rock space! One of my favorite things is also getting photograph bands. So far I’ve gotten to photograph two of my favorite bands; The Brook & The Bluff and The Hails.

For books I am slowly reading more (I’m buying them faster than I read them). Some books currently in the reading pipeline are Unreasonable Hospitality, Wild at Heart, and The Four Loves. I tend to like reads relating to business, psychology, or stories about adventure and self discovery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once on a journalism trip with my university, I got to photograph family reunions under the most unusual of circumstances. Seeing fathers reunited with their children and documenting their celebration is something I’ll always remember. Ask me about it, I’m happy to share!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’d love to cook for you and spend time sharing like stories if that interests you. I’m also a photographer, and am almost always traveling with my camera! Maybe a little photo shoot? Everyone could always use some fresh portraits.
